After graduating from college, Kitty spent the next ten years paying off student loans, and still remembers how happy she was to write the very last check (she drew smiley faces all over it and wondered if the student loan company would be able to cash it).
Although she didn’t know it at the time, Kitty made a number of financial mistakes over the years. If you have made a particular financial mistake, there is a good chance Kitty has as well.
Kitty’s interest in personal finances grew after reading Dave Ramsey’s book “The Total Money Makeover.” She and her husband agreed to follow the principles in the book. They paid off their debt and started budgeting for the very first time. As she saw the difference in their bank account, net worth, and reduced tension, she wondered why no one had taught her this information in her youth. She began to tell her friends about principles of money management and gave “The Total Money Makeover” as presents. She realized the passion she had for educating others on personal finances and helping others get out and stay out of debt, and completed Financial Coach Master Training.
Kitty loves challenges, and every year sets a new physical challenge for herself, whether it is taking part in a New Year’s Day Polar Plunge, walking 100,000 steps in a day, or running a 5K (after not running for decades). She would love to help you tackle your biggest challenges.
